52 Suburbs

You may be aware of the 52 Suburbs blog:
My name is Louise. I've lived in Sydney for over 30 years but had never set foot in most of its 600+ suburbs. So from September 2009 to October 2010, I explored and photographed one new Sydney suburb a week in search of the beauty in the 'burb.
The photos Louise has taken are stunning, it's interesting to see so much diversity in Sydney via these images. I haven't seen anything quite like it.
Sydney and it's sheer size is staggering, every time i'm on the road to and from Sydney i'm floored by how big it really is. Like Louise i've lived in this city for a long time and don't have a clue of what it is like in other parts.
The 52 Suburbs blog was recently converted to be an exhibition at the Museum of Sydney in the city with a few photos for each suburb showcased.
Strolling around it provided a unique experience to viewing the photos instead of doing it online.
It has given me an peak of what 4.5+ million residents have made of Sydney. I'm going to make a note explore my surroundings more in the future.
52 Suburbs is showing from May 14th to October 9th at the Museum of Sydney.
